Our Kindergarten Pedagogy

At DVGS, we believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong learning. Our curriculum is designed in alignment with internationally recognised  UK-accredited comprehensive EYFS curriculum that covers important PSA learning areas – Prime, Specific and augmented and also inspired from the structured language -rich and culturally global approach of AEFE’s ecole maternelle . Designed to support the holistic development of children, this curriculum also adheres to the NEP (National Education Policy) guidelines.

Our report cards highlight each child’s progress properly. Every field is ranked and children’s uniqueness is marked in each aspect including cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains.

Prime

Prime areas of learning constitute the significant concepts required to establish a sound base for children. All the areas under it work simultaneously to achieve growth and assistance is provided to support other development areas and bring out the best in toddlers. The 3 prime focus areas include :

Specific areas highlight essential skills and knowledge needed for children to actively participate in society. The 4 specific focus areas include :

Augmented Curriculum

The Augmented Curriculum is framed keeping in mind the expectations and visions of parents for their children. Augmented areas include focus at :

  • Writo
  • Mini Max
  • French /Hindi/ Bodhi /Urdu
